"Find the Good" was written by Mandy and Nashville songwriter Adam Wheeler. The inspiration came from a sign on the wall in Mandy's home that displays those words. The song is about always trying to find the good in any situation, no matter how trying or hopeless things may look. Mandy sang the song to several different crowds in different settings, and it repeatedly grabbed the audience and brought forth their request for Mandy to record it. She includes two versions of the song on the EP. One is a fully produced version, and the other is an unplugged version with her friend Todd Peters.

Lyrics:

There's a sign on the wall when you walk into my house

I found it at the store one day when I was feeling down

I was thinking about all my problems,

Thinking 'bout all my pain

Three little words on a piece of wood

Brighten my day

Chorus:

Find the good

I bought it right then and there

Exactly what I needed to hear

'Cause I'd forgotten how

To find the good

When the worlds crashin all around me

And hope's playing hide and seek

The first thing I do now

Is find the good

Verse:

You can find it in goodbye when life takes somebody you love

Or even when a dream dies if you keep lookin hard enough

'Cause I've been lost and broken

I failed some tests of faith

Sometimes I just need reminding

I gotta find a way

Chorus:

To find the good

No matter how bad it gets

Believin' its for the best

Life can't keep me down

I find the good

When the world's crashing all around me

And hope's playing hide and seek

The first thing I do now

Is find the good

Bridge:

Its never been, that easy to do

But ever since, I found you

Chorus:

I find the good

No matter how bad it gets

Believin' its for the best

Life can't keep me down

I find the good

When the world's crashing all around me

And hope's playing hide and seek

The first thing I do now

Is find the good

Find the good, ooohh
